1971, the first small rod pump shop was organized and chartered
in Sweetwater, Texas. R.L. (Bob) and Penny Adkins had a small
inventory and an idea to add oilfield supplies. Thirty years
later, with a strong team and a keen business sense of oil and
gas, Adkins Supply, Inc. (ASI) has grown to be the fourth
largest full service oilfield supply company in the nation.
ASI has locations positioned from Carlsbad, New Mexico to Bridgeport,
Texas.
ASI has built a reputation for servicing
customers, distributing quality products with high inventory
levels, and offering competitive pricing. This accumulates
to be the best value for the consumer!
ASI carries over 50,000 sku items that when
called upon will be delivered 24 hours a day. This can only
be done with a dedicated team of employees. Each store has
a store manager, pump specialist, sales team and delivery
force. The store managers are supported in two ways: by district
managers and a city sales force located in Midland, Houston,
Tulsa, and Arlington.
Our headquarters is located in Sweetwater,
Texas. This office team handles purchasing, accounting, computer
systems, and strategic management. The ownership is principally
in the second generation, therefore ASI qualifies as a woman
owned business.
After 30 years, the ultimate key for our
growth can be attributed to our dependable people! There is
an enormous amount of appreciation and loyalty to every member
of our team. This level of respect is experienced daily from
